Just for fun

Evidence that I'm a bit of a dork (and proud of it)

I love these jokes.

What award did the inventor of the knock-knock joke win?

The Nobel (No-bell, haha)

Why does Snoop Dogg carry an umbrella?

Fo drizzle

What is the scariest plant?

BamBOO!

A man and woman in onesies. The man is in a Green Bay Packers onesie. The woman is in a cat onesie.

I think onesies are wonderful.

Especially if they have pockets. A onesie with pockets is a thing of beauty. And if the moment is right, I will unabashedly wear one out in public: I've taught class in a onesie, I've had meetings in a onesie, I've gone to dinner in a onesie. I even convinced my husband to wear a onesie in public with me. It was Halloween, but still... he couldn't resist because onesies are wonderful. And maybe because his onesie had pockets, too.

I say hello to animals.

We're talkin' pretty much every time I see one, even on a screen. I can't help it.

One time, walking through my neighborhood on a lovely late-October afternoon, I even caught myself starting to say hello to a skeleton dog decoration.

And then I immediately laughed at myself, because c'mon, that's just ridiculous.

A small dog skeleton decoration (not a real skeleton!) against a pale blue background.

Not the actual decoration, but pretty close....

And speaking of animals, I love connecting with them through the lens of my camera. And yes, I say hi to them when I'm doing that, too.
